Waldorf Towers Hotel
If people have ever marveled at a picture postcard of South Beach hotels behind a row of Palms, then they've probably seen the Waldorf Towers Hotel. Located opposite the beach on Ocean Drive in the middle of the action, the Waldorf can't be beat for the complete South Beach experience. Guests need only stroll across the street, through the palm lined park to get to an excellent beach. The Waldorf also is only five minutes from the Art Deco Historic District and a half mile from the quaint shopping of pedestrian only Lincoln Road. At the beach, guests can rent everything from boogie boards to Jet Skis. Golfers will go wild at an 18 hole public golf course five minutes away. Back at the hotel, the Compass Market sells food, sundries, and international magazines and newspapers. Concierges at the front desk can adroitly help guests bag tickets, reservations, airport transportation and other services.
